Behind the scenes at

The hanging of the 2013 exhibition

It was exciting watching Pierre-Alain Challier begin to put up my paintings. Here he’s hanging “Whirlwind.”

It’s amazing how important the lighting is in hanging
the paintings. Placement is everything.

Here Pierre-Alain is hanging my painting “A Family of Pears.” This was the painting featured on the cover of the catalog (below, left).

Above and right, the colorful reeds near my home on Long Island Sound in “Golden Grasses Against a Blue Sky” and “Golden Grasses on the Shoreline.”

These are two of my favorites: the “Misty Days Along the Shore” diptych and the swirling sea of  “Turbulent Waters.”

My still-life gallery. I loved painting these Expressionist fruits with abandon!

Once the art was all hung,
my show at the
Galerie Pierre-Alain Challier
was open for business!

Last year’s show was a wonderful experience, and
I’m very much looking forward to seeing the 2014 paintings on the walls of the Galerie in July.
I hope you are, too!
